Work is now complete on the expansion to the
Watertronics factory. We’ve taken the
original 25,000 square foot plant, which originally housed the blast booth,
paint booth, welding and fabrication, and expanded it to over 75,000 square
feet where it will now include, engineering, assembly of all
engineered-to-order stations such as the Vertical Turbine and Horizontal
Centrifugal, dynamic performance testing, and shipping. One exciting feature of
the new facility is its dynamic testing capabilities, allowing up to four
stations to be tested simultaneously.
The new test pit is 22’ deep, 8’ wide by 60’ long.
New machinery has been added in order to produce more
of the station components in-house, which will provide manufacturing efficiencies,
shorten the time it takes to produce a station, and improve overall
quality. The new addition also adds
valuable warehouse space, which allows for better management controls of just
in time inventory.
Now that the new expansion is complete, this provides
Watertronics the opportunity to continue investing in the dedicated disciplines
and resources required to manufacturer, assemble, and test the engineered to
order systems separate from the standard WaterMax enclosed booster landscape pumping
systems.
